Its Raining, Its Pouring...

...and I wish I were snuggled warm in bed snoring!!! Somehow, however, this picture is making my day feel a bit warmer! This bracelet is one of my favorites, from one of my first "official" collections, and is made of hand-knotted Pink Garnets....LOTS of hand-knotted Pink Garnets, let me tell you! My first collection was entirely garnets, in every color possible.

I am still drawn to Garnets, they hold a top spot in my list of favorite gemstones. Why?

Color range. Garnets are in the a full color range of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, brown, black, pink and colorless. Other varieties of color-changing garnets exist. In daylight, their color ranges from shades of green, beige, brown, gray, and blue, but in incandescent light, they appear a reddish or purplish/pink color. With all of these possible colors, Garnets are versatile for a designer, but also for the collector. Why settle on just one color?!

Meaning. The Garnet is known as the stone for a successful business. It is often said that having a garnet on your desk will improve your business, or wearing garnet jewelry to an important business meeting will swing it in your favor! It is believed that putting a garnet under your pillow or consistently wearing garnet jewelry can help with depression and improve self-esteem. It helps protect one on trips, so be sure to wear garnet jewelry while traveling!

Symbolism. The Garnet is also considered a stone of purity and truth as well as a symbol of love and compassion. The Garnet will help the wearer feel more secure and more spiritually aware. And, it can help your...ah...romantic life!

Healing Powers. The Garnet is associated with the circulatory system including Heart, Lungs and Blood. Many believe that the Garnet can help to ease problems with high and low blood pressure, anemia, inflammation and exhaustion.

If you are feeling that you could use some Garnets in your life, visit K. A. Mace Jewelry and add some Garnets to your jewelry collection! You will not only be purchasing a beautiful piece of K. A. Mace Jewelry, but you will also be enhancing various aspects of your life and health!

K. A. Mace Jewelry Available at Tres Jolie!

I am excited to share with all of you that my rings (and more jewelry to come!) is now available at Tres Jolie! Tres Jolie is an AMAZING accessories boutique in Beverly Hills, and Glenda Lugay is a leading force in finding the newest and hottest accessories in the Los Angeles area! Ms Lugay has impeccable taste, so I am honored that my jewelry will be featured on her website!

I am finalizing some new pictures (one seen above!) for her, but hit a snag today. First of all, the lighting has been terrible, and something personal grabbed quite a bit of my attention today. I have watched "The Secret" and am trying to apply some of what I learned from that movie to the personal issue. I truly believe that the power of positive thought will propel me forward. I also believe that I need to visualize and focus on the big picture to conquer the small challenges that life has thrown my way.

So with that said, I am off to continue to create fine, handmade jewelry! I am visualizing YOU wearing my jewelry! So, please, visit Tres Jolie and check out my K. A. Mace Jewelry rings! Happy Holidays!

K. A. Mace Jewelry Featured on SpinDaily.com!

I was recently interviewed for SpinDaily.com, and the interview is now posted at http://www.spindaily.com!

I discussed some of my newest designs and inspirations. It was really exciting to be able to discuss the pieces one by one, and of course, not all of the pieces could be featured in a short segment. However, I did get to talk about a couple of my favorites, including the Golden Glory Ring (pictured above!).

I also wanted to convey to viewers the importance of buying handmade this holiday season, and truly...at any time of the year! It is so vital to support artisans and ensure that the arts and cultures are vibrant and thriving! Go to http://www.buyhandmade.org to pledge your support!

I am so excited to share this interview with all of you, and I hope that you enjoy it! Freel free to contact me at kelly@kamacejewelry.com with any questions or any feedback. Visit http://www.kamacejewelry.com! Happy Holidays and BUY HANDMADE!

I am all about floral jewelry! For me, it makes me feel happy, alive, and inspired. I love the idea of wearing floral jewelry and feeling like I, too, am renewed with each passing Spring...that I too, seek out the sun to bloom...and that I, too, bring color and happiness to someone who stops to notice.
