People, Places and Things that I love....

As I have had to scale back my budget, I have had to give up one of my greatest pleasures: yummy, but oh-so-expensive spa treatments! However, I have found a few bath and body artisans on Etsy.com that have helped me to create a spa experience...for much less money...and in my own "home spa"!

Savor has incredible soaps and other delights. One of my favorites is her Gateau de Citron Creme Fraiche Whipped Soap. With a soft, sexy scent of Lemon Cake and a luxurious texture, this Whipped Soap is bubbly and a true joy!

Savor also creates amazing shaving soaps. I love how they lather and I truly get the best shave using these soaps, and they have a nice moisurizing quality. Even cooler? I feel that they are helping me to reduce my carbon footprint as I only recycle a bit of lovely packaging instead of a huge shaving cream can!

Haunt is an amazing artisan as well, with unique, luxurious products in the most beautiful packaging and labeling I have ever seen. The products are so lovely you will WANT to leave them out on your bathroom counter!

One of my vices? Haunt's Golden Pumpkin Sugar Polish. Well, actually ALL of her Sugar Polishes! Haunt's Sugar Polishes contain the most amazing ingredients that blend into an experience that is sensual and scent-ual! Not too oily, not too scrub-y, just the perfect way to exfoliate and moisturize!

And, speaking of oil, Haunt has the most delectible Skin Glossing Oils. This Glossing Oil sprays on, and is a perfect texture, and not at all too oily. My favorite is Milk & Nectar...no, actually it is Lemon Tart...well, I guess it is a tie! My favorite Haunt moment is when I was in my son's classroom and one of his classmates told me that I smelled like a "fresh bakery".
